We live in a world where outer beauty is generally valued far more than inner beauty. They say with good looks, the world can be your oyster. Never mind being a person who is intelligent, caring or hard working.
I'm one of those people who cares about inner beauty. Yeah, I actually think being a good person DOES get you somewhere in this world, and that being a nice guy doesn't necessarily mean you'll finish in last place. They say it's a dog eat dog world. Well, I'd like to think that, from time to time, dogs have the capacity to come together and help one another find food rather than eating their own kind. Ya know?
They say the midrange jump shot is a lost art in the NBA. True that. The same could be applied to inner beauty in society. So, is it okay if I propose a toast to someone who could be...inner gorgeous?
Enter The M.A.D.E. Project
This is a group Lana created on facebook. The acronym stands for Making A Difference Everyday, and encourages it's members to promote positivity. These days, my peers are so quick to glorify negativity but to shun off positivity as boring or corny. This group created by my peer is a fresh breath of air that shows hope is not lost for my generation. That we're not all composed of 65% selfish and 35% materialistic.
I don't know Lana personally, and I probably never will, but I do know that this is a beautiful idea that could only come from someone with beautiful and selfless intentions. So shout outs to her.
Not to mention, she kinda has the ridiculously outer gorgeous department covered = )
Yeah I'm loving this.... glad to see a very cool down to earth young lady that cares about other people feelings..... its a beautiful thing to have great looks, but a beautiful personality as well.... she definitely has more to offer besides looks and looks wont take you very far especially if you dont have the mind to go with it. much love to the creator of this page and much love to my buddy Lana Love.

ReplyDeletebecause of people caring so much abt looks so many people not just only girls but guys also(some wont admit to it) but they have bad self body image of themselves. i dont like how the media plays around with tht either. you have to be thin and skinny but it be great if u have big breasts or a nice ass or have some really nice curves. not all of us are so lucky. but we go to learn to love ourselves so tht we will be able to love other people. sorry for the typos i am not one of the smartest fish in the sea i am just stating my view cutting this short because i dont want to ramble on for hours lol :D
