Good Day 4 Independents
Even though the "Gracie Version" of Mood Muzik 4 has been out since last month, the official E1 release still managed to hit the number 28 spot the iTunes top albums list. (Not to mention number 2 on the top Hip Hop albums list right behind Kid Cudi) Not bad at all for a guy that most uninformed rap fans like to criticize as "The Pump It Up Guy". This just goes to prove that with some creative self promotion, a good product, and a dedication to building a strong fan base, today's artist can definitely survive without a major label backing them. It is definitely a good day for hip hop and hopefully we can see more artists follow suit.
