The wait is over.... all the long nights, hard practices, flashing lights, screaming fans, stares from the opposing teams are all symptoms of that moment right before that big game. "Friday Night Lights" is the highly talked about follow up to "The Warm Up" and the prelude to the much anticipated, untitled full length album scheduled to be released early next year. Sticking with the theme of the J. Cole of a rising basketball player with "The Come Up", and "The Warm Up" and Friday Night Lights follows a boy trying out for the team and eventually going pro. J Cole is no stranger to pressures of performing well and says "if The Warm Up is about a guy trying out for a sports team, F.N.L is about that guy making it and the feeling right before a big game."
