DJ Mag Top 100

So, recently, the website DJ Mag put out it's annual "Top 100" list of DJs as voted on by the fans and/or registered members of the website. Personally, I've always felt like the DJ List was always a very fair representation of the electronica scene, but this year's list seems to be kinda whack if I do say so myself.

I wholly agree with the list's Top 10(all save for the number 3 spot Tiesto inexplicably gained this year...), but as you go deeper down the list, things seem to get a bit strange.

I will say this of the Top 50 though, the high points are seeing artists like Headhunterz, Afro Jack, and Dash Berlin come in from not even being on the list last year, to have really great positions on it this year. But the lows really did kinda hit me hard. Mostly Daft Punk going from 33 to 44, and the little article they wrote on them.

What are your thoughts? Someone on there you think shouldn't have been? Someone you wanted to see on there? Leave us a comment or two in the box below!

You can find the DJ Mag Top 100 List here

  1. As long as I see Andy C on there, I'm good. I'm biased, but a lot of DnB DJs would take a dump on these dudes from the technical aspect of DJing. Andy C is just one of them. Good to see DnB get representation though.
